The goal of this project was to satisfy the discerning client, who requested an apartment that would feel timeless, be contemporary, and have clean lines. He wanted something unique and personal.
The approach was to take the stunning New York skyline seen from this high floor apartment and integrate it into the design of his dream home.
Many of the furnishings are custom-made. A great deal of attention was given to the details from the hand-troweled plaster walls to the juxtaposition of materials. There are many beautiful elements throughout the apartment such as the custom-designed bronze hardware and hand-selected decorative items.
